Pillar of truth #yearintheword

This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth. Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.—1 Timothy 3:15-16 NLT

The church of the living God has been made a steward of this truth—the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and His promised return. We have the answer to this worlds problems living on the inside of us. The moral compass of our nation is broken. We have gone astray from truth. Many would say, “what is truth.” Jesus said, “I AM”. We the church are the pillar of truth, Jesus is in us, we have an inner compass that guides us in our decision making to live a life of character and integrity.

We need to be qualified as Paul pointed out to Timothy to lead and exert influence on our world. Are you qualified to lead others into a relationship with Jesus? Influence can only happen where trust has been established. Trust is something that is earned. We become qualified when our lives are anchored in truth. Jesus is the truth and by drawing close to Him and His word everyday he will qualify us to be a blessing to someone in need.

When you see the disfunction in our society, we should not complain about it but we should recognize it as an opportunity to minister. People need a pillar in there life to bring security and stability to their lives. We can be a pillar of truth or as the Apostle Paul said, “living epistles written by the Spirit of god to be read by all.”
